Tim Johns is a keen photographer and his website includes a gallery, along with links to featured work.

Biased BBC
This is a blog which seeks to uncover institutional bias in the BBC. It is updated every day and includes a whole host of information and links.
News Sniffer
This website allows users to track changes to articles on news organisations' websites (including the BBC and the Guardian).
The Guardian
Website of the Guardian newspaper in the UK. Contains a wealth of articles on science and technology.
DW-World
Deutsche Welle is Germany's international broadcaster and is a very reliable news source. The website also has a good German course on it.
18 Doughty Street
Politics for adults. They sometimes carry good interviews

Digital Photography Review
Website with very comprehensive reviews on most modern digital camera. Also contains a news feed.
Wikipedia Featured Pictures
Section of Wikipedia for photographs which have been deemed to be of a very high quality (look out for my photograph of Broadway tower!)

Debian GNU/Linux
Website of the Debian GNU/Linux project which is my favourite distribution.
Gentoo Linux
This distribution of the GNU/Linux system uses a 'portage' system to compile everything from source. Very good if you want to delve deeper into the workings of a GNU/Linux system.
Linux from Scratch
I didn't get very far with this myself, but give it a go if you are brave enough!
Neowin
This website covers technology news (not just about windows) and provides fora and rss feeds.
Notepad ++
Very good, free of charge text editor
thinkpads.com
Thinkpad community support forum containing informations pertaining to all models.
Notebookreview
Website containing detailed reviews of many different notebook computers

Get real time data from probes in space. Includes sunspot count.
Richard Booth's Bookshop Ltd
Europe's largest secondhand bookshop which is located in Hay-on-Wye. They have a large selection of science/engineering books.
